For 40 years the Ann Arbor Antiques Market has offered a wide range of quality antiques and collectibles to buyers throughout the United States and Canada. Exhibitors have successfully offered for sale every type of antique imaginable from early Americana to Art Deco.  The large crowds at each show have provided dealers with knowledgeable customers and have given an economic boost to the entire field of diversified collecting throughout the years.

Special June Event

“Dealer for a Day”

June 14th &15th

For the past 40 years, the Ann Arbor Antiques Market has been a reliable source of beautiful antiques for the discerning public.  Over the years, our dealers have built a wonderful clientele of knowledgeable collectors.  So often during a Market we hear from our customers that they have found a perfect piece but need to make room before adding the upgrade to their collection.  We hope to facilitate this process by adding a new event for the month of June.  During the June Market we will turn the tables and let you, our customers not only shop but become “Dealer for a Day”

Here is how “Dealer for a Day” will work:

      • We will designate a building to be used for “Dealer for a Day” antiques.
      • Anyone interested in selling their antiques (authentic antiques only) will be asked to bring their merchandise to the Market on Thursday June 12th between the hours of 9am-4pm.
      • All items must include a tag with the following information
        • Description of antique
        • Price
        • Seller ID#, which will be issued on Thursday
      • The “Dealer for a Day” building will be open to the public during the Market hours on Saturday and Sunday.
      • Ann Arbor Antiques Market staff will operate the building.
      • Seller will need to check back on Sunday at 6pm to pick up a check for all items sold or to retrieve any unsold merchandise.
      • The Ann Arbor Antiques Market will ask for a 20% commission on all items sold.

If you would like to be part of this event or would like more information please call Amy Nicholas or Deb Haller at 734-662-0496 x210 or email Amy Nicholas at anicholas@fgrhsaa.org.  Please be prepared to give a description of your merchandise.

Let’s have some fun this 40th anniversary and celebrate both our loyal customers and our wonderful dealers who have kept the incredible world of antiquing alive and well in the beautiful Ann Arbor area.
